The Marlborough Downs Nature Enhancement Partnership is the proud winner of the 2018 Wiltshire Times Conservation Project of the Year. At a glittering awards ceremony at the Swindon STEAM Museum, members of the partnership received the coveted trophy from Alistair Ewing of Ramsbury Brewery, the award sponsor.

Farmer group is champion for wildlife
When accepting the award, project manager Jemma Batten stressed that the achievement was down to the co-operation and hard work of the farmers and land managers across the Downs, working in partnership with any number of specialists and other supporters.
