Summer Farm Walk and Picnic

This year's summer farm walk returns to the Burderop Estate near Swindon for an evening of two parts. We'll start off at 6:00 pm at Overtown, where we'll explore the recently surveyed medieval village with Winchester University archaeologist Nathalie Barrett. We'll then decamp to Lodge Farm for a stroll in the woods (from 7:00 pm) to find out about how this Site of Special Scientific Interest is managed from Arthur Witchell, the estate manager, and about woodland birds from ornithologist Matt Prior. We'll round off the evening with a picnic - bring your own food and seating.
