About the event
This year our Seasonal Supper will have a climate-related theme with particular focus on flooding and drought resilience - very pertinent to our experience of 2026. Speakers will be:
Erika Peklanska, Researcher from University of the West of England - Waters of Change – Marlborough's Journey Toward Resilience
Erika's research explores the River Kennet and how its flows change, from high water levels and flooding to very low flows during droughts. She works closely with a group of curious local community members in Marlborough, exploring how we can better understand the river and become more resilient to floods and droughts. Together, they use storytelling, imagination, modelling and other creative activities to explore different ways of understanding and living with the river.
Alex Collins, ARK Catchment Co-ordinator for the Kennet Catchment - What is a Catchment Partnership and why should you care?
Will Veness, CEO and co-founder of Probcast by Catchment…
