About the event
Our ever-popular annual bat walk will be led by Ali Rasey who will give us an introduction to the resident bat species we have in the UK, including info about their breeding, roosting and feeding behaviour. Special bat detectors will be provided so you can hear the bats calling as they hunt around the trees and buildings.
Please wear stout footwear, bring a torch, and a jacket as the evening will get cooler as the sun drops.
Accompanied children over the age of 7 welcome but sorry, no dogs. No charge for 7-15 year-olds.
Meeting place will be given when you book.
