About the event

Our ever-popular late summer bat walk will be led by Ali Rasey, Wiltshire Council Countryside Officer, who will give us an introduction to the seventeen resident bat species we have in the UK, including info about their breeding, roosting and feeding behaviour. Special bat detectors will be provided so you can hear the bats calling as they hunt around the trees and standing stones.

  • Please wear stout footwear, bring a torch, and a jacket as the evening will get cooler as the sun drops.
  • Accompanied children over the age of 7 welcome but sorry, no dogs.
  • Meeting place will be given when you book.

This event is free to attend but if you enjoy it please consider making a donation at the end so we can continue to offer similar activities.
